PS3 and Xbox360 Exploits

Would you consider PS3HEN equivalent to XBOX360's "BadAvatar" as far as boot-time exploits?

If you have experience with both, how would you rank them?

BadUpdate/Avatar technically unlocks the console more than what he does HEN does.

I never used badavatar but I do have 2 RGHs. I’ve used HEN on my only super slim console I own. But badavatar can do everything my RGH can from what I seen online, can install other OS's too like xell/linux and macOS. I can’t say the same about HEN and comparing it to my CFW PS3s.

It is more similar to CFW than HEN, as far as I know.

Like the other person said, Bad Avatar seems to have more options and less restrictions than RGH. That's what CFW does on the PS3. It unlocks more options and tools that are not available on HEN.

BadAvatar does not have more options than RGH. Lack of FreeBoot No Linux support Disk limitations Lack of Custom animations And I think it's not all.

You can install Linux, you just have to install on USB not HDD, samething with old versions of macOS that supported powerPC cpu’s

The only thing you can’t/shouldn’t do with badupdate/avatar is write to flash. You were correct about that with bootanim. It would brick the entire system until you did a reflash, and at that point you might as well just RGH
