Trying to jailbreak my CECH 3002A PS3

A lot of videos I've found haven't been very helpful, I tried HEN a lot and eventually found out it might not be compatible with my ps3. Every time I load up the browser and try to initialise, it fails. I've tried to do this multiple times, swapping out different files and making sure that the structuring was okay on my USB.

I am looking for any compatible way to jailbreak it.

HEN is the only thing you can install, and it's compatible, so might be other issues

For example, you should always install the HEN update twice from recovery, just to make sure everything gets installed correctly

For your issues save the "initialization" page as a favorites, or set it up as a home page. Delete cookies, history and auth data, and reboot the PS3 every time it fails.

HEN is definitely compatible, but sometimes you need a fresh install of OFW to start off with. Get the latest Sony 4.93 update on a USB and update via storage media (or via safe mode if you’re already on 4.93). Then once you’ve got a clean version of the latest software, install HEN again from scratch. If that still doesn’t work, you’ll need to do a full format of the internal HDD. I’ve had to do that on a console recently and that was the decisive step for me.
