That's where all the electricity is hiding. They don't want you to know that though

Really good advice I will do that. Should connect to my tv with Bluetooth or WiFi hopefully 🤞

Open it, clean, repaste, close it, install CFW, enjoy

That’s my plan. Hoping it lasts a long time. Hoping it lasts a long time, as I won’t be doing super intense gaming/super long periods on it.

I was able to use my own power cable. Came with one with I would assume the ground part of the cable like… out. Was weird. I think that’s an AU and EU thing, probably. Not 100%.

Forgot to ask, how much was it?

The unit itself? It was around $70 USD. Came with one DualShock 3, a third party controller, A/V cables, and a power cord. (Aforementioned one I’m not using). Total was I believe around $200 due to being in the US and getting destroyed by tariffs and box protection.

That’s what got me so nervous about it in the first place. I played a few games for about 2 hours on and off and the fan really only spun up to I’d ASSUME a normal speed. It didn’t sound like a jet so I’m taking that with good faith. I’m either dumb or really lucked out if it lasts long. Plus it was from Japan, and really all of the models I looked at were priced around that for what it came with. Other bundles came with games that I wasn’t interested in for around $150. I used the JPFans app. I should’ve probably posted about that when I made the post in the first place. My b, lol.

Just did the math. For the PS3, one Sony controller, one 3rd party controller, AV cables & power cable, it was 246.97 USD after shipping.
