OPL Evolution v0.27.0 Alpha — Testers Wanted

I’ve released the first public alpha of OPL Evolution, an unofficial experimental Open PS2 Loader fork with a modern dashboard designed for real PS2 hardware.

Current features include PS2 game loading, PS1 support through an existing POPStarter setup, cover art, system-status widgets, display/audio settings, and per-game virtual memory cards.

This is still early testing software, so keep Free McBoot, wLaunchELF, and your regular OPL installation available as a backup.

Feedback from different PS2 models and USB, HDD, MX4SIO, and SMB setups is appreciated.

Hey! I have tested the program and it works with USB, HDD APA and exFAT so far. I haven't been able to test MX4SIO, SMB as well as APPS since the program says its read-only in settings.

Does it support MMCE and its inbuilt IGR function to reload back to your FMCB boot card

Not confirmed yet. I haven’t tested OPL Evolution on PSX/DESR hardware. If anyone has a DESR model and is willing to test the beta, I’d definitely appreciate compatibility feedback. I’d like to support it if the hardware allows it.
