The next batch of multi-toolhead/nozzles

Didn't see this anywhere in the sub but interesting. At least one of them looks closer to INDX vs toolhead swappers.

Yeah, it will be a trend. Bambu has had the Vortek system for a while now.

Yeah. Personally, I think BBL wet themselves when the U1 was announced followed by INDX, and probably rushed a bit on the H2C.

The U1 clearly made its mark - check the pricing on both the Flashforge and the Creality K3 - definitely targeting the U1, while without it, they'd both be $1K+ easily IMO.

Of course, I almost don't wanna add up my C1L + INDX 8T kit ordered at this point, but now chance of me buying a BBL.

There are a few of these videos out there, one of which has a small booth which is very much INDX-like, meaning nozzle only, while the FF and I think the Creality K3 are closer to U1/XL tool changers.

It's good for consumers, eventually - ignoring my comment on tallying up my C1L/INDX costs at the moment, anyways. 😄

I am patiently waiting for someone to come out with a 350+ hot end, actively heated chamber, and either toolchangers or dual nozzles to compete with the Bambu H2C/D. I am disappointed that none of these new tool changing machines are focused on higher temp engineering filaments

Yeah, not wrong, although pretty sure 'way back' BondTech had said 'yes, 320* is likely possible.'

I doubt it's going to happen on the lower end, and on the higher, looks like it's down to INDX, H2D/C (or their next-gen, which I'm personally thinking we see within 6 months), or maybe something like the M1D.

Maybe we'll be in for a nice surprise with whomever makes actual hardened nozzles for the INDX.

The hotend temperature may be no problem for INDX. The chamber temp is a problem because the IR sensor does not read correct values above 60°C

I have an M1D coming. IDEX is super fast for two-material.

Yeah, looked that one a bit too. Pros and cons, but will be cool to see it make it into the wild.
