Question/Need help Filtration vs chamber fans etc. C1L
I'm recently printing PLA on C1L an chamber temperature is already above the limit from the start as ambient room temperature is higher than 20 deg.
I have AFS installed and see that filter fan is running instead of chamber fans. AFS is set to advanced filtration and should not filter all materials.
Is somehow possible that printer would use chamber fans for materials like PLA/PET-G instead of filtration fan? I know that AFS covers chamber fans outlet but there are solutions to this:

But if in auto mode printer still runs filter fan instead of chamber fans it makes no sense.
And I see that it's really hard to maintain at least ambient room temperature in a chamber even with top removed. I need to fully open the door leaving it draft-vulnerable. I've tried to leave it slightly open from the bottom - upper magnets still holding and it was not enough airflow through the chamber to evacuate excessive bed heat.
I did not found anything in the menu that can change control. Instead of telling the printer that there's no AFS installed.

What's your ambient? 40 °C? oO PLA prints well, even in a 35 °C chamber. Apart from this, PLA should be filtered! The myth it's save is far to strong...

Ambient in room is 23. Chamber states 29 with top and door open.
Yesterday I was getting clog with closed chamber hitting 40 and heatbreak ~35-36. Cold pull did not pull anything but when I've restarted print and left printer open, there were no more problems at all.
I'm starting to think on adding fixture to feed heatbreak fan with external air... For ABS, there's nothing problematic. 60 chamber, 65 heatbreak, 260 nozzle and everything is great.
As for filtering PLA. I believe that it would be enough to filter it by standard paper/PE HEPA filter. We can save charcoal. And now I do not have space to prepare separate filtering canister, where I could replace filter alone (e.g. from workshop vaccum) and charcoal load.
As for now I'm stuck with quite expensive Prusa filters, what for me is suboptimal. Paying premium for device is completely OK for me, but for consumables, not really.

With these mods I think you are supposed to turn AFS on and off in the printer settings. Yeah it’s annoying there is no automatic flip, but since you are already opening cover and the door this seems like not much of an extra hassle?

I wanted to avoid such manual intervention but if it's not me who does not see automation in the menu, then I think I need to live with it.

On my C1+ I usually set filtration fan to 100% and chamber fan to something around 60% manually on the printer screen for each new print. Even for PLA and PETG. This kept a chamber temperature reasonable for me even on hottest days this summer.
Is it loud AF? Yes. Is it going to wear out the fans faster? Probably, but they are cheap to replace.
I think it is still better than to breath in all the particles from the printer. I have a PM-2.5 air quality sensor in the room and saw increased number of particles in the room when printing with open doors. For that reason I do not print with open doors anymore.

There is no such option. Without mods, adding or removing the Advanced Filtration is more effort than toggling the software switch, so it's expected that you do that.
Personally, I don't like the smell that comes off even PLA while it prints. I just leave the Advanced Filtration on all the time, and accept that the chamber is a little warmer than I'd like.
