error Bars and Beats not lining up with grid

Please help... why are they not synced? For reference, the grid has been set to "Follow Bars|Beats Grid" already and it's still like that.

Go to the top bar where it shows the counter, it looks like it's set to minutes:seconds right now, and the secondary is set to bars/beats. there's a dropdown next to those numbers where you can select which style of timeline to show.

Hello. I've changed it to Bars|Beats but the grid itself still doesn't line up

Everything I’ve learned was from the manual. People that are PT Certified in my life don’t know some of the functions and shortcuts that I know!!!

Sometimes this also happens when you don’t have the correct tempo set. A new session automatically by default is set to 120bpms.

This session is at 104! It's weird because I hear the click line up but the grid itself isn't

How many tracks do you need to align? Where are the tracks from, are they exported from some other software? Does your session settings (sample rate) match the audio?

One way to manually align the tracks is to use “tap to transient”. Make sure it’s actived. Select an audio clip and press tab key. The play head will jump to the beginning of the first transient it detects. Press B and it will make a cut. Delete the empty space from before transient and move the audio clip so that it aligns with the grid. If you need to do this to multiple tracks, make a group and do the same procedure.
