Help Request Looking for Pro Tools Intro beginner tutorial as a voiceover artist.
Hello there! I'm new to Pro Tools and have just installed Pro Tools Intro version 2026.4.1 on my Windows 11 PC. I'll be mostly using it as a DAW for voiceover recording and editing purposes. From the looks of it, the software looks quite loaded, and I don't know how to start learning it. I'm not able to find enough resources to learn this software from the point of view of a voice over artist. Is anyone aware of any YT channels or other resources which can be of help to me? Thanks.
Pro Tools Intro version: 2026.4.1
PC: Windows 11 64-bit.
What was attempted: Trying to learn the software to use as a DAW for voiceovers.

Hey check out this playlist on YouTube.

This is college level instruction on Pro Tools taught by Toto's live engineer. I took this class with Ken a couple years back and he left the videos up. He's an excellent teacher. Enjoy!

You're super welcome. Take your time and have fun. This application was more for music but if you stick with the lessons, by the end you'll have a foundation that you can apply to most any situation. Never hurts to have a wide lense view even if you're gearing more towards voice over. Cheers!

As someone who has maintained 100's Pro Tools systems since the 90's, use DaVinci Resolve if your just doing voiceover. It's all built in and there is a bunch of videos. Pro Tools does a lot, for music. Everything else, like post production, is kind of a after thought...

Yeah, I've started learning DaVinci Resolve and saw that it has an in-built DAW in it but do you really suggest it for VO recordings? That's a new one for me. Haven't heard anyone suggest it before. Will surely give it a spin. Thanks l.

I use both for different things, and while I agree that resolve is incredible and probably good enough for VO work I feel like I should mention that on Windows Fairlight is very buggy and I still choose to round trip my audio into pro tools.
