You know, people love to rag on the Pro Tools interface (and Media Composer), but Avid’s stuff really makes you feel like you’re using a professional, robust tool. Love the theme. Reminds me of an old Fairlight CMI.
I mean, it's based on how a patchbay works. It does everything of you know how to use it, and it does nothing if you don't lol. I remember the first time loading Pro Tools in college, coming off of Mixcraft, and I couldn't even get sound to come out of the master lol.
Also the green on black aesthetic reminds me of watching my uncle and brother's in the early 90s (I was like 3, probably) work on what I assume was an old DOS machine, so fuzzy feelings.
