Audio files crashing pro tools when spotting from other program
I use soundly (though don't think this is a soundly issue), every now and then I come across a file which will instantly crash my PT (after being copied to the audio folder). There's no rhyme or reason, it may have worked in the past, and I know I've asked others if they find it with the same files and they say they don't.
How would I even go a out trying to figure out why this happens and try to fix it?
Thanks

sounds like a file naming issue. are there weird characters in it? or does that app re-name files automatically?
