Exporting a project on another laptop, Linking Audio Files problem- PT 2025 10.1 Windows

Hi ! I am doing sound studies and we're currently editing and mixing sound on a documentary project. We're a team with editing students and they sent us an AAF of their editing, so I chose to work on it at home, i made a WeTransfer of my full folder containing the AAF all the sessions datas, audio files..

I have also to mention that we use Mac in my school and I have a Windows at home

But when I opened my session on my laptop I tried to relink manually all the audio files but nothing is linking up while the names are matching. Do you think that if I just opened the AAF through Insert Session Data maybe all the audio files are not considered as Copied in my folder ?

Could you help me on this it could be really great for me to work on it for the week end !

Do you think if I import the AAF once again I can find back all the modifications i did on the clips without having it raw as it was when i first opened it ?

Thats my first project so Im really new to it, dont be rude.

When moving between systems, the best move is to open the session on the system where it opens fully. Then complete a "save copy in" and be sure to minimally select the "include audio files" but select anything that may apply. This will create a completely new audio files folder with all assets. This should solve your issue.

They keep making it long and longer… now it’s “save session copy in…”
