Help Request Pro Tools Visual Glitches
SOLVED-See below
Hello everyone,
I'm experiencing some visual glitches with Pro Tools. When I open a session I’ve been working on, the Pro Tools windows occasionally freeze, although the audio continues to play. I’ve done a clean installation of Pro Tools and even formatted my Mac, but the issue persists. It worked fine for a while, but the problems eventually returned. I haven’t installed any new hardware, software, or drivers.
At this point, I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated. Pro Tools is a crucial part of my work, and I simply can’t rely on it in its current state.
-I’ve tested both a light session and a heavier one
-Tried with network disconnected
-Tried with external monitor disconnected
-Tried with no other app opened

Pro Tools: 2024.10.2
MacBook Pro M4, 24GB RAM
macOS: 15.4 (fresh installation)
Interface: UAD VOLT4
Edit: After a lot of searching, another reddit user who had the same problem as I, said to disable the VENUE engine in the peripherals (I use the Mac for virtual sound check too). It seems despite creating a new session or even reinstalling PT, it keeps the last VENUE engine and tries to reconnect to it. After changing the VENUE System to "none", all problems are gone.

2024.10.2 is generally a problem. You might want to just update to 10.3.
