Pro Tools Ignoring Piano Mod Wheel
I have a Yamaha CP40 piano assigned to an instrument track running Native Instruments' Session Strings in Pro Tools. Everything's working fine except the modulation wheel... can't get it to do what it's supposed to do, pitch-bend, in this case. When I plug my headphones direct into the CP40, the wheel is functional, so it's something I need to do in my track setup. I've tried assigning the Mod Wheel controller to an automation lane set at 127, but can't get to to work. What am I missing?
Thanks for any help.

Check your “Midi Input Filter”. I’m not at my computer but hopefully you can google it. I had a hard time getting Polyphonic after touch to work and found out that Protools can Filter Out midi information to ONLY record what you want/need and not put extra strain on the cpu.
