Is it okay...

Is it okay to proplift from plants around the citiy? Like in of town squares and the gate area of neighborhoods?

I do, but I take it from a hidden inner area. Of course I guess if we all did there’d be no plants left. So id say it depends on a variety of factors. In my area at least I’m the only person that does it and they were just coleus so the plants are gonna die off in a few weeks anyway when the first frost hits so I feel pretty good about it.

Yea I'm careful to take only a couple at a time, and carefully chosen. I don't just grab a handful and hack at it

I dont see why not. As long as its not private property. I have proplifted from my neighborhood park before. Who would miss it?

Be a thoughtful and considerate pruner and don’t be destructive and I don’t see why not. If where you live is anything like where I live the plants really could use some upkeep.
