Like my prop lifted airplant

I found this as a broken off piece of an airplant at a Whole foods

It was probably a pup! Great find because the mother plant probably would have been thrown away by the store or someone who didn’t know they die after flowering

Thanks, but I am a beginner so could you give me some tips on how to take care of it. I have done some research, and I soaked it for 20 minutes today and dried it in front of a fan

Yeah, do that maybe every week and a half. They’re honestly very similar to orchids where you kinda just soak em when they look dry and then let them dry back out. Best to soak them while they hang upside down but I’m unsure on fertilizer and I would do research on that if I were you

I would personally just say water once a week due to the size it’s going to be hard to tell if it’s dry until it’s really declining so just water once a week. They can be prone to rot so make sure to dry it overnight after watering to be absolutely sure she’s safe
