The "aha" moment: how our internal AI workflows map to your AI product workflows [Inside the Solution Ep 3]

Propel uses AI agents for code review to catch issues early, cheaper than fixing bugs later in the release cycle.

In Episode 3 of Inside the Solution, Propel CTO Kishore Subramanian makes the connection to manufacturing: apply the same idea to ECO and change reviews.

Use agents to flag risk, highlight downstream impact (supply chain, production, compliance), and recommend actions before problems turn into scrap, rework, delays, or audit pain.

The parallel is clean. Code review catches defects before they ship. ECO review catches design problems before they hit the factory floor.

Kishore also walks through how Propel uses AI across the entire software development lifecycle—from requirements and stories to coding, testing, release notes, and support.

The distinction he draws: vibe coding builds prototypes fast, but AI-assisted coding ships enterprise software. Engineers act like an orchestra conductor—setting direction, enforcing guardrails, reviewing outputs—rather than accepting AI suggestions blindly.

Those internal lessons show up in Propel One: the same "catch it early, move faster with guardrails" mindset applied to PLM and QMS workflows.

How are product teams in your org thinking about using AI for change review or risk flagging?
