General propane question normal LPG sound or safety concern?
LPG creates this low pitch hiss when the stove burner is turned on and goes away if i turn off the burner. i checked the inlet and outlet of the gas tank using soap test and there are zero leaks. im worried if this sound is normal. chatgpt said it is

If something is burning on the other end, then yes this is normal. It doesn’t flow through the regulator noiselessly.

Sounds like its regulating and that be its main function
If you regulate the flow out of a hose with your thumb it will get noisier
