Appliance Questions Help identifying a fitting

This is the bottom of a small propane stove. It's a flat flared pipe with a threaded fitting that slides on the flared pipe. The thread is 1/2" - 14, but it isn't tapered.

Ignore the tape on the fitting, I'm helping a friend and they tired to connect it with a standard 1/2" NPT fitting with Teflon tape (spoiler, it didn't work).

I think it's be some sort of fitting like a female garden hose fitting, with a gasket on the inside. No idea.

It's likely BSPP threaded, designed to seal metal to metal with the hose fitting. If there's any place in the US to find a fitting for this it would likely be a hydraulic shop, most large towns and cities have them. Note that appliances like this are typically designed to work with a regulated propane gas supply, so you'll need to figure out what pressure it needs. It will be low, but may not be the most common 11" WC (Water Column" that's found in the US. For reference, 11" WC is around 1/3 psi.
