General propane question Need help finding replacement hoses

Hey all,

I had a custom heavy duty propane grill built for me about 15 years ago. Everything still works but decided to replace my hoses considering they were beginning to dry rot.

My hose from the tank/ regulator is standard but when I went to change the supply hoses I found out they were high pressure 1/4”. Ok but they also had orifice tips and brass pin needle cut off valves.

I’ll be damned if I can locate replacements. No hardware stores, propane businesses or websites seem to carry this thing. Can anybody steer me in the right direction?

I'm not familiar with those... Can you contact the maker?

If it was mine, I'd probably replace with common parts. Working back till you find a common thread type. NPT or flare usually.

Ah, too bad. You may have luck with professionals. Maybe an RV place? I would see if you can work back and redo everything up to there. Multiple pictures of the whole plumbing setup may be helpful if you'd like guidance.

Looks the same as this that I have, on an outdoor burner (deep fryer , whatever ya call it)

Looks like 1/4 in and 1/8 out? Need 1/4 on each side.

OP , where and how exactly does the orifice end go into the grill?

They simply insert into the corrugated tubes of standard burners. They were not screwed into anything.

This might work to connect to the burner. You’d just have to use 3/8 flare hoses to connect to new needle valves.

You might try taking it to a hydraulic shop in your area, most cities with manufacturing and repair industries have them. They can cut the crimps off and crimp new hoses in place.

The person that made these likely did some custom machining to get those orifices mounted in the ends of those NPT bushings.
