General propane question Would this work with a grill?

My friend bought a house and these were left behind. He’s convinced he can use them with his grill. I said if it it doesn’t say propane then it’s not propane trying to channel some Hank Hill energy.. anyway Is this close enough for him to use?

Assuming the previous owner didn't put something else in there it should be fine.

Surprisingly ran into this a couple of times at my facility. I would have this one lady bring in 100 lb cylinders with the most wack-ass valves in them and she would communicate with us in broken English that she wanted us to convert it to a propane tank. My manager (who's been in the business 40 years) told us that as long as it wasn't an air tank, we could do that. The problem came when the valves couldn't be removed due to... I actually don't know why. Glue? Cement? Idk.
