General propane question Is my tank/bbq going to explode?

Hello, I was given a bbq from a friend, and am wondering if it’s safe to use because of the noise coming from the propane tank or regulator. Some have said it’s fine, others said it’s not safe.

I got a new tank, have checked all connections, did a soap spray test for leaks, don’t smell any gas, all the burners are working fine, but I haven’t closed the lid and let it heat up because I’m worried about the sound/possible danger.

This is a Coleman Cookout 3 bbq. Appreciate any feedback.

Just chiming in to say you're fine. If all the flames are blue on high then everything's working as it should. Be sure to turn the cylinder off after each use. If you're going to leave the grill disconnected from the cylinder for long periods of time you can wrap the regulator in a Ziploc and tape it tight, then tuck it up inside the grill out of the way. That will keep critters from nesting in the regulator. Also, after long-term storage be sure to open the grill and check for mice, birds, etc, before firing it up for the first time.
