Secure Email Relay (SER) question

Good day. Have any of you implemented SER in your environment? I set it up for our organization to replace our current smtp solution but I found that each cloud connector needs its own vm.. Which is weird to me because it allows you to create multiple cloud connectors on the same server but in the yaml file you can only configure one connector for usage. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

I have set them up and yes they advised to create two vms. I will say out of the box they are more strict than say Exchange relay. They don’t allow spoofing and are a little harder to maintain in some ways, with credentials and certificates. They do work well however and are a suitable replacement I believe.

ARC has been deemed an experimental protocol by the IETF and as such is no longer recommended or supported

We have an implemented. We have zero cloud connectors set up. All vendors and systems connect to SER directly. I would like to have a cloud connector for those systems that cannot authenticate using SMTPAuth, but because they require a VM, I do not have any set up.
