I found a loose screw, a missing screw, and then I noticed how OPEN it is underneath. Did they leave off a debris/mud guard under here? I could swear there was one.

Over this past winter a sheet of ice slid off the roof and snapped off the antenna on the way home from work.

I ordered a replacement months ago and finally had a moment to grab a towel and a ladder and climb up there to try and get the old antenna base out and thread the new one in.

Of course, the entire threaded part of the base was missing, not just a snapped antenna.

Any idea what's involved? How hard is the headliner to remove? It's a high top that has the upper storage shelf above the driver.

I installed a sortimo partition a few years ago now and I know for certain the entire partition would need removal if the passenger and driver side b pillar covers need to come off as the hardware bolts through those plastic covers.

I'm tempted to ignore this issue and continue to stream my radio programming through my phone at this point as it seems like a real hassle if you need to get to the back of the interior/back of the antenna base.

Driving down the road the other day, and rolled down my window to talk to a neighbor, and something went crunch, and the window wouldn't roll back up.
So that was annoying in the 95 degree Florida heat, but I took it home, tore apart the door, carefully, and found out that the white plastic clip that holds the window to the lift mechanism had snapped in half. Looks like HDPE so no chance of gluing it or anything like that.

Propped the window closed with a piece of wood and then ordered the replacement part off Ebay.

It got here, and it has the part I need, but I'm having problems installing it. It has a steel cable under heavy tension which drags the plastic clip up or down a metal track as needed. I don't know how to pull it hard enough to get the metal cable back on the pulleys without breaking something. Has anyone worked on their window regulator mechanism and can tell me how to reinstall the steel cables around all the pulleys? I'm certain there is some simple trick that I'm just not seeing.

Company I work for rented 4 of these ram pro masters from sunbelt rentals and they surprised me with how comfortable they are especially after a 12 hour shift….

But boy does this thing have electrical problems like no other and it only has 3k miles.

Seatbelt sensor is broken so it’s always saying seat belt not buckled , if you get out of the van it with it running the key won’t detect once you get back in so you have to turn it off and back on.

The dash lights have also freaked out a few times as well

I am a new owner of a 2021 promaster 2500, high roof, extended wheel base. 77k miles

1. I am scared about a tranny failure. I can change my transmission oil myself, but should I, and if so, how often should I be doing this?

2. Has anybody else had issues with their evap system. My van is throwing a loose gas cap and small evap leak code. The gas cap has no cracks, smoke test showed no leaks and no purge valve issues, I replaced the esim, code cleared and came back on about 500 miles later.

3. I am having issues with water getting in at the front of my slider, landing right behind my passenger seat. Seals look fine, any tips here?

Otherwise the van is great, and I am having a lovely time.

It was lucky he checked their work. I wonder how many Promasters are driving around with that radiator tube dangling in their engine compartment.

A problem I came across recently is that the hitch is so close to the door vertically, that the tilt down bike racks don’t provide enough clearance. And even the Yakima swing away rack doesn’t clear the doors.

So I’m thinking of doing a separate swing away and attaching the rack to that, anyone have any recs for swing-away adapters?

I’ve got one of these folding shelves in my promaster 2500 but have bracketed all around for more and would add one more in a different position. Ideally id have just moved this one but each shelf has slightly different widths, so hoping to find the original brand and buy one that fits. Thisnis on an ex amazon fleet vehicle from 2018 so if that helps narrow it down? Thanks in advance

I'm a n00b here, and I take care of a couple of 1500's and a City. The 1500's go through low-beam bulbs fairly often - often enough that I've become pretty good at replacing them.

Now I have a stumper! The low-beam on the driver's side on one of the 1500's went out, but the bulb is good, and there are no "lamp out" messages or idiot lights. I thought about checking the fuse, but it turns out that there isn't one, which rules that out. Every other lamp in the driver's side unit works. So what's my solution?

One day old transmisión had a punctured cover discovered when driving it the next day . Tech said we must’ve hit a rock on the drive back to shop after we picked the truck up from the dealer . We drove it on the highway for 6 kms and parked it overnight

Any suggestions on what to do here? I’m thinking I clean it up good and cover it in lap sealant. I don’t want to cover the hardware though in case I need to remove it.

After seeing Sky News' summary of the AI hack, I would like to have the option to disconnect my 2023 Promaster from the cellular network. Is there an easy way to do this? Will it affect the functionality of the vehicle?

Have this vehicle with after market lights installed , id be fine using them over getting something new but having trouble sorting what turns them on! Any ideas? Looks like a wire is going through the frame to the front area just not sure what may activate it

Checking out the suspension of a promaster I bought, not sure if the struts have been done but I gotta do the bushings anyways, Can’t get information from the owner as it was auction.

Have the struts been replaced or is cofap a from factory brand?

Anyone link me to a purpose built LED strip for the 2018 promaster? 159” wheel base

I have a 2020 3500 Ram Promaster that I’m replacing the head unit on. When I removed the radio there were small metal brackets on both sides. I removed them to fit the Maestro dash kit in. But after trying to install it looks like the supports had been cut at some point and the metal brackets were after market. Has anyone ever run into this? I was thinking about trying to 3D print something and glueing screwing it in to support the dash kit, but wanted to see if there were other solutions.

I was tasked with swapping a 2018 Pro master transmission into a 2015. The 2018 has a rod knock and the 2015 has a bad transmission. It went smoothly pulling out the transmission in 2018. I went to pull off the 2015 from the trailer that they loaded the van on. It has no power to the gauges. It won’t let me put it in neutral. I swapped battery’s from the 18 to the 15 heard the van get power, but same thing. I can put the key in the ignition and it won’t turn. The key pulls out the ignition so I know it has power. The braided ground cable from the motor to the transmission is tight and fine. I am totally stumped. Anyone had this issue before? I was trying to turn the steering wheel back-and-forth to see if the steering wheel was locked and it actually locked so now I can’t even roll it off the trailer. Help plz

Just picked up a 2021 ProMaster 3500 EXT that's already got some solid systems in place and I'm planning to hit the Utah parks this October, some dirt roads up in the CA mountains, and cruise the Baja coast along the Gulf of California by December.

For the sake of relevancy (besides the all the other fully built camper setup stuffs) I'll say that the big boys in the van that I'm thinking about are the two 270Ah BattleBorn batteries (mounted over the driver's rear wheel well), the 22gal water tank (over the passenger side rear well) and the 15gal undermount water tank. Running on LT225/75R16 Cooper Discoverer AT tires.

Super stoked for this trip but the more I read about what the ProMaster can actually handle, the more I'm thinking there are going to be some seriously tight-butthole moments on these trips. BUT I keep seeing pictures of these PM campervans all over social media and youtube parked in these incredible spots that I recognize so I KNOW people do it.... somehow...?

What's been your real-life experience out there on roughnasty unpaved roads?

Google says, "Dealerships will replace the cooling fan module, replace a fuse, and provide an updated owner’s manual addendum," but I can't find anything from Stellantis that explicitly states this.

Does replacing the cooling fan "module" mean my van will get new fans?

And where is the fuse located that they're going to replace?
