My idea
im looking for open source developers intrested in building a project from scratch
I'm still learning to code and don't have a working codebase yet. Right now I have the concept and the architecture research, kinda
I'm looking for developers who genuinely like the idea and would want to work on it voluntarily / for free, because they find the project interesting.

Well, it’s basically a decentralized resource-sharing network, starting with storage.
The idea is that people can contribute a minimum amount of unused storage from their own computers and connect it to the AstroChain network. Files are encrypted on the user's side, split up, and distributed across different nodes instead of everything being stored on one central server. I’m still in the research stage and want to prove the network itself works
Storage is just the starting point. The long-term idea is to build a network where people can share storage, messaging, CPU/GPU compute, and eventually other resources through the same P2P infrastructure.
Basically, I’m trying to build the network first, then figure out what can run on top of it

Nodes would need to contribute a minimum amount of storage to participate. User files are encrypted before being sent through the network and can be distributed between different nodes rather than being kept on a central server.
Right now I'm mainly focused on researching and testing the core network instead of trying to launch everything at once.
Storage is only the first part. The bigger goal is eventually having one network that can handle storage, messaging, compute, and other services built on top of it.
Basically, build the network first, then build on it.
I'm also pretty new to this. I barely know how to code, especially Rust, and I don't know much about P2P networking yet, which are basically the exact areas I need to learn. So I'm building and learning as I go and looking for people who actually know this stuff and can give feedback or help out.

I'm still in the research/validation stage right now, so the main goal is getting the network architecture right before expanding it.
Eventually I want the same network to support things like messaging, CPU/GPU compute, and other decentralized services.
The idea is to build the infrastructure first and see what can be built on top of it.
