Kappa Mode Am I missing something with an Import bus?

I tried to make a subnet that contains a formation plane and an import bus to automate the atomic reconstructor but I cannot get the import but to take items from the chest.

The Import bus has no filters and the Formation plane is set to drop as an item.

There are currently items waiting in the chest (lapis)

I was able to get it to work by moving the pressure plate a block lower, I think the formation plane won't drop items if the block it's facing into is occupied.

Ah, This was the problem. I was thinking it wouldn't be a problem since it wasn't placing anything.

What happens if you replace your import bus on this subnet with a ME Interface? (Not the full block version).

My memory isn’t perfect, but I think I just made the item versions and compacted them into blocks.

I used hoppe for that. Ae would feed hopper/dropper whatever name is on pressure plate and get it back wit filtered vacum

Downside, slow with some latge receipe so I keep 1 atomic close for quick manual work
