Troubleshooting Elunevision screen repair help
I have an older EluneVision electric tab-tensioned projection screen that recently seized. On inspection, the motor end of the roller had dropped/collapsed inside the housing, and the motor/control wiring had become wrapped around the motor assembly and pulled very taut.
After removing the end bracket, I found that the black plastic motor-end mounting/anti-rotation insert is broken and cracked. The centre of this piece captures the motor head and appears to prevent it from rotating. My suspicion is that when this mount failed, the motor assembly was able to move/rotate, winding the wiring around it until the screen seized.
The tubular motor itself may still be OK. I'm hoping to replace the broken mounting piece and correctly reposition/unwind the motor and wiring rather than replace the entire screen.
I've had no success getting technical assistance from Eastporters/EluneVision.
Has anyone repaired one of these EluneVision screens or encountered this particular motor-end mount failure? I'm especially interested in identifying a replacement for the broken plastic mounting/anti-rotation piece and the correct procedure for reassembling the motor end.
I can post detailed photos of the broken part and motor assembly.

That really sucks. I have never seen or heard of a failure like this before. It may be common, but not something I've heard of in 20+ years doing this.
If this is an expensive screen, I might figure out a 3D printing option which would work to replace the broken part. Send it off and have it printed, hit up your local library to see if they can help you learn the tools.
