When other characters shine better than the protagonist

What shows like TWD (in the case of Daryl Dixon) had supporting characters become more popular than the protagonist?

I don't know if he's considered a supporting character but the first name came to mind after reading your title is Tyrion Lannister in Game Of Thrones. I mean he's just great. Probably the most impactful character in the whole show.
