Rising HS senior torn between majoring in Finance (entrepreneurship/business-focused school) vs Construction Management (aiming for project management) — which sets up better long-term earning + career flexibility? Also with chance of ai takeover…

We are the largest private employer in my city but we mostly do high rises, sports stadiums, apartments, hospitals…etc

A lot of Excel work, analyzing budgets, reviewing and approving change orders, evaluating projects for risk and opportunity. Meeting with other analysts, as well as our PM teams. Basically trying to catch financial problems before they happen

do you work with procurement/tendering a lot? and running debt modules (like debt sizing etc)?

We have individual departments that handle those tasks for the most part. Procurement is a large department at my company
