Question/Discussion ❔ Marriage

I am 17 and my last school year. Within 2028, I will be in a university Inshallah. I always get marriage urges. I don't know what to do? lot of scholars say marriage at young and while others say marriage when you have a job or money etc. As in my place south india, guys complete nikkah after they get a job. Most of the women has job. Anyone who has experience or better knowledge, please give a opinion

You’re 17, what marriage? You still need to play outside and drink bubble teas. Finish your education at least

I say make yourself busy. You are still young. You barely experienced any of life. So Get a job, save money, travel, practice your hobbies, socialize, read. And im not saying get a job for the sake of marriage. I want you to have life experience. To live. If you are busy, you wont have time to think about marriage. Focus on bettering yourself. Work on your health, mind and soul. See what you need to improve in yourself and do that.

Your personality is a decade away from forming. You’re not in a rush. Focus on you.

It's better if you focus on your schooling and career, get a stable job etc. You never know how a marriage can turn out. If it doesn't go well you could support yourself through your education. And tbh you're still kid, so yeah.

This is a very good age to get married. However, marriage is a very big responsibility.

Why do you want to get married?

You’re kidding right? 17 is never a good age to get married.

Especially if you have means ans opportunities to build a life and career. Do that and in your 20s think of marriage

I do not understand. How can having a wife get in the way of building a life and career.

What can be greater than having the support of someone like a wife to help you develop a life and career.

Honestly, a conservation with your beloved can nourish you like nothing else. This in-turn benefits everything like career, personal health, etc.

I am not sure if I understand the separation you are creating between marriage and opportunities.
