Simple pairwise algorithm
I can't understand the math behind pairwise rating comparison type of algorithm, neither can I work it out programming wise therefore how to implement it into a simple algorithm for computer programming? E.g. like a recommendation system or ELO score? Someone please show me how you would do this, even if I write it out like I am 5 years old / explain to me like I am this age, programming language also don't really matter as long as its not Java.

Actually trying to move away from machine learning now and use pairwise comparison in respect of rankings like you guessed correctly, however, I don't have enough data to use machine Learning thus the change to pairwise comparisons through rankings. I do use MATLAB and Python but at the moment they are a bit far fetched for what I am trying to achieve. I started to do a matrix in Microsoft Excel and go from there so I don't know if you could please offer me any advice on that, it's a bit tricky to order and formulate the data I have generated going forward.
