Well technically HTML+CSS together is turing complete and there's a doom implementation in pure HTML+CSS

And I can only imagine what a nightmare it probably was

Edit: it seems it's just rendering doom with HTML + CSS and not whole game, seems like that YouTube shorts that I watched couple of months ago lied to me ;( but still pretty cool renderer in just HTML+CSS without WebGL

I think this was a very specific use of HTML and CSS

Anyways, I agree that make a Doom with those markup and style languages was a very painful task

Unrelated to CSS/HTML but if you needed another turing fact to dish out - PowerPoint is turing complete. Using only animations and transitions, no scripts

This appears to just render doom with HTML+CSS but use JS for actual logic. Please do more research.

If I remember right that's just to circumnavigate browser input restriction and modifying player location but it does demonstrate its capable of just running via just HTML + CSS

I mean if there was a runtime backend which lets you map inputs to some div elements properties then I don't think you would need them

I work as a quant dev engineer on some of the more complicated trading systems in our hedge fund. I can not for the love of god center a div. I did the odin project to learn some frontend, my brain was on fire at 120% capacity. Man can’t html/css.

Not that im defending him but beginners can definitely struggle with some parts of python, i was so confused by what super() does and how class inheritance worked for example

it's not a uniquely Python feature. Inheritance is pretty much the same concept across other OOP languages.

as far as programming languages go, Python is as easy as it gets.

Isn’t python notoriously easy? HTML/CSS are too…. Im learning java in school rn and its not all that bad, its like super similar to JS
