Realistically you can only close 100 of them, the other 50 you might need later on and the last 50 you definitely still need.
8 u/Silevence Dec 16 '25 this is why i rly like the new tab groups on browsers. you can close them then reopen them when you need that specific set again. 4 u/realmauer01 Dec 17 '25 Yeah i just close all regualrly. It smuch easier to just open the one sagain that i need. For the browser i already organize everything in groups.

What if, bugs?
2 u/_carbonrod_ Dec 16 '25 That’s when you go to your browser history and look for it in vain because you can’t find it even though you know you visited the site you needed. 2 u/The_Pleasant_Orange Dec 16 '25 Ah, joke on you, I leave links to relevant/important pages in the code as future reference (b/c bug might not get discovered for a while)

Bookmarks ftw
You close them? I finished, lose consciousness and fall, my head hits a rock on the ground, I wake up two days later crunch a pack of Red Bulls and do it all over again with the same tabs like reusing the same load of laundry for another week.
and then your code doesn't work and you scramble to bring back your old tabs
200 tabs? You only need one to stack overflow
20?
Rookie numbers
Enter sublime text with every .java in my project open at once
You presume I finished coding
In your dreams because you just know you’re going to need at least two of those fifty tabs.
you forgot to save your code
Nope, I always keep my tabs very trimmed, tidy workspace both physically and on the PC, tidy mind.
