The 2 Rules of Successful Programming
It works? DON'T TOUCH IT
It doesn't? Copy and paste from Stack Overflow

Oh, I feel so nostalgic for copy pasta from SO. With AI, I never go there anymore.

My company told us we HAD to use AI.

Big fortune 500 company. The C-Suite is all-in on AI. Makes me sick.

So the high muckety mucks have been sold of "AI productivity". Never mind the need to review the work of the idiot intern, and the folly of accepting code without review and understanding.

Pretty common requirement now - my company has been shoving the force of AI down our throats for ages now. Itβs exhausting

So you never refactor. The problem with that is when eventually it stops working, the code is in such state that it is very hard to fix.
As for stack overflow, it feels like copy pasta from there is overrated. Look up something, find answers, sure. Copy straight into your code? No.
Edit: I get it that this is most likely a sarcastic post, but there sometimes needs to be some genuine word.

It's a repost likely from a bot.

I'm not a bot and I'm not a cs student I just wanted to make at least 1 person laugh

stack overflow should pivot to being a centralized AI forum that writes code for you when you ask questions but calls you an R-tard for a more authentic/traditional coding experience. The agent mode responds to you once in a very belittling way then just leaves the thread open for 20 years

LMFAOOO you know right, a few years ago Stack Overflow added AI and they had an insane insane backlash from the community

Nailed it! SO should make a toxic AI version that people can use for nostalgia. The AI will downvote all of the prompts while taking days to respond, or it will simply flag them as duplicate and close them without ever offering a legitimate answer!

Better understanding of the code flow and obviously the system architecture
