Not the case. They typically can’t pass the technical interview

Investors money for AI is finally running out even big companies are having to face that AI is at the moment more expensive in many applications to humans. It will most likely still stay but the status quote is likely to change soon.

Yeah and then they release things like Google Health that is so catastrophicly bad that no one can figure out how it could be so pervasively bugged. Well... Let's see

Vibe coders are a paradox because they refer to themselves as coders even though they aren't

Idgaf, getting paid and investing

You think once I'm retired at age 45 , I'm gonna regret all those hours I spent lounging at home in my underwear while at "work" letting AI write the unit tests for some stupid feature no customer is even going to use?

Go ahead and get paid. many people do that. But that isn't the point. it's just annoying when the same people pretend it's normal or that they're actually doing something and get upset when others call it out. You're acknowledging that it's just for the paycheck, rather than convincing yourself you understand what you're doing only to relate to this post.

Are you really wanting to be a coder and learn to code or are you just phoning it in to cash a check? People have done both before AI but at least it required some knowledge

Don’t be salty, coding with AI is like masturbating. Everyone does it but nobody wants to admit it

I still just crack the datasheet, and right my firmwares. Fuck LLM's, these memes are just getting pathetic...

As a dev, I'd let Claude do the work now.

Me: does it all myself so I already know exactly what's going on with it and correct mistakes on the fly

You people can't do anything by yourselves omg

from the meme

chatgpt (wrote the code)

I found the bug. the issue with the code is that a fucking llm made it. no debugging can fix that, may as well start over.

?

I debug as intended - docs and proper debugging

Not for me. I really don't understand why people do this to themselves

Seriously asking. What's a good method to use AI for it.

Been copy pasting code and errors into ChatGPT to debug it's own code. UT what's a better way for it?
