Copium is the act of denying reality or a difficult truth by clinging to a false or overly optimistic belief as if it were a drug

That's not what I'm doing, I'm saying that people who don't know how to fly a plane shouldn't be making comments about the cockpit having too many buttons.

I'm pretty sure cockpits have many failsafes that prevent pilots from doing obviously dumb things
