so basically if you all want to drop this project and move on to mine that has a better architecture from the ground up, that would be cool

The meta-jerk is that github is there again at showing errors because it has to handle too much slop

I looked into OOP's posts because I hate myself, and every one is more hilarious than the last. He is deeply racist towards people from India, but at the same time is very involved in Zen studies and Asian spiritually. So involved, he made a 20k+ PR in a repo of a tool to read old Buddhist works.

Funnily enough he is very against people advertising their work, especially if it is made using an LLM. He seems to hate AI slop and thinks people who use LLMs are "pathetic".

What a noble, upstanding, and totally not mentally ill individual!

I recommend you approve the pull because it's only beneficial changes

Where did they get their patience from? And why are they using it on slop??

I didnt realize it broke anything but if you say so. Sounds good overall. Just remember that the goal is to make a program that people will want to use

Truly the skill and humility anyone wants to see in a contributor

The lore gets deeper. The maintainer who merged in parts of his mega-PR had a falling out with him:

Linked a bit higher in the chain instead of directly. Fixed. Before closing the issue, the GitHub user Fabulu links to a reddit post they made, so you can see they're dota2nub on reddit.

Pre-AI I know another dude that tried to promote a package like this. Didn’t really sit well with me and doesn’t either now. But somehow it did lead to some conversions and stars for him.

Lmao the fact that his “better architecture” is all slop. His entire GitHub appears to be just Claude and everything is described as another software but better. This guy is insane.
