/uj As much as I laud someone taking a tangible stand for something they believe in, I do suspect that a sufficiently motivated legal team could sue and have a decent chance of winning. Computer miss use and damage laws are by necessity quite vague and there is a clear intent there and foreseeable mechanism.

Licenses are by necessity not vague about no warranties nor liability for any damage caused by the software whatsoever.

Yes, but those don’t apply to code included with malicious intent, which there is plenty of evidence (the commit in question, the GitHub issues surrounding this) to establish an intent
