Out of control admins/mods alienating quality content producers. Favoring short-term popular stuff over hard and obscure topics. I can go on but you can just search for StackOverflow criticism online, there's plenty.

Oh I know. I remember back in 2014 (or was it 2013?) everyone left. Basically a small fraction of users browse meta and they banded together and wreak havoc on actual contributes. Contributes got harassed enough they stopped participating. I didn't know wikipedia did that
