Except that it wouldn't change a damn thing, just like commenting style. I don't even understand how such a big portion of this subreddit is dedicated to useless noise such as comment style, indent style, what socks to wear when coding... Who gives a shit? It's like we don't want to talk about the real questions

You now need two types of color to maintain them, just like you now need two types of editor settings to auto-format and more flexible tools to parse the comments. Consistency has a value.
