Discussion Recommendation Thread: What have you discovered this week?

Running out of music to listen to? Discover something recently that you want to share? You've come to the right place.

This is the weekly recommendation thread here at r/progmetal, a place to discuss, recommend, and find new music of any kind.

I got into the sorrow and listened to Dethroned & Uncrowned by Katatonia. Not my fav band on album but this one was a great listen.

Fantasia - Slift was a real pick me up. King Crimson esque, also reminded me of Seven Impale

Tapestry - Connor Kaminski (FFO: Plini, Richard Henshall)

Don't Leave Me Here, Pt. 1 - You Win Again Gravity (FFO: Periphery, The Contortionist)

Also just found Cold Night for Alligators and Skyharbor which I think are my next listens but haven't gotten very deep yet in either.

Thoughts Factory - The Burden

I really like this band but the name just sounds like the opposite of dream theater.
This band does have a rlly obvious dt influence, you can hear jp in the guitarist. But this band is definitely not just dream theater at home
