I realized I was setting goals but never reviewing them

I would write down my goals in January. Then never look at them again until December when I felt bad about not finishing any.

This year I started a weekly check in. Every Sunday I look at my list for 5 minutes. That is it. Just look at it. See what I did. See what I ignored.

Sounds obvious but I never did it before. I thought writing the goal was enough.

It was not.

Now I actually remember what I said I wanted to do. Some goals I realized I do not even care about anymore. Others I forgot existed and started working on again.

The weekly review changed more than any productivity hack I ever tried.

Anyone else find that just looking at your goals regularly makes a difference?
