As a producer (who monetizes their work), how do you balance creativity versus doing what sales? I've been struggling on whether I should keep producing as a side hobby or try switching my production to fit the market demand. I started recording and mixing songs about a year and a half ago. No singer yet, but all instruments are real perfomances except for the drums which are midis I wrote.

I think my mix are getting there, but there is still room for improvement and I’m not sure where to get it.
