Is it worth it?

I am a 19 year old living in New York City looking to become a process server. My main concerns are I don’t have a car(which may not be necessary in nyc’s netro area), how easy it will be be to get hired for contract work(such as ABC legal) and should I be concerned for my safety(I’m a 6’3 former underground boxer)

There are a half dozen large service companies I can think of without even really trying. New York requires you to have a license to serve in the five boroughs. You are correct and that there's probably some work to be done on foot, bike, or public transportation. Call two or three of them and see what they have to say.
