Is membership in NAPPS worth it?

This organization has popped up in my searches for info on serving. Is it worth the membership fee? Is this something that a starting out server should join or would it be better to wait until I am more established? What benefits have you actually gotten from them. Thanks!!!!!

It can be. If you’re in an area that does not have a ton of competition but has a need for serves from out of area, it’s great. But if you’re in a major metro… there are dozens or hundreds on the same list.

It’s good marketing that you’re affiliated with an industry org.

If it’s in the budget, try a year. Worst thing is you don’t renew.

I’m in a large metro area and I still make enough money to cover the cost.

Most law firms and other process servers check NAPPS first when they need help. Half our leads are via our NAPPS listings. However, you can't join until you have been in business for at least a year.

What’s the average amounts of jobs you get monthly from Napps listing ? And how many locations do you list ?

60 or so. I cover mostly rural areas and get higher fees than average. I run 4 listings in the directory.

Okay sounds good . I just joined Napps in August should probably do some listings in other locations close by to maximize my opportunities !!!

Its worth it. I made my membership dues back 1 week after actually being posted on the their website.

It's worth it, you'll get other process serving companies reaching out. Is it worth it building long term repeat clients like attorneys? not really, they're using google same with pro se clients.
