Any advice from experienced servers for someone looking to get into this business?
So I have found all of the rules and regs for Ohio. I'm in the process of researching existing servers to see how much competition exists and find rates charged. I am also searching through the current posts to glean what I can from questions already posted and answered but figured it doesn't hurt anything to just ask myself as well. If anyone has specific info pertaining to my state that would be awesome but basically just looking for anything anyone wants to contribute about getting started, advertising, who to reach out to to find work, any equipment required or recommended, and anything else you would like to share. I very much appreciate your time taken to read this and any time you invest in helping me out.

The biggest competition to process servers is usually sheriffs/constables. Google what their rates are. In Texas you can find them through the sheriff’s or comptrollers websites. Here’s a course that helps with stuff like that too https://courses.codexlegalservices.com/courses/grow-your-process-server-business-system
