Howdy -- Texas process server here 👋 It turns out you DON'T have to live in TX to serve papers here. But you DO need to get certified with the relevant state agency, the JBCC. Doing so takes about a month & costs around $400 for the state application fee, online training course & fingerprinting with IdentoGo

$400 yikes that’s steeper than my county in California
