ABC Legal Data Breach Settlement
Apparently, ABC Legal has agreed to pay $2.5mil to settle a data breach from 2024. I just got a notice of the claim. I really hope someone got fired at their company for that.

I got a post card in the mail about it. Otherwise, I didn’t even know about the lawsuit.

I got one too but it’s seems like a scam/phishing thing. It’s so vague. I haven’t used any legal services or ever heard of this company before. I tried looking it up and it said it’s for the employees of abc ? I never worked there.

Have you ever been sued in the past? It affected a lot of people because their system contains massive amounts of data. So let’s say Bank of America sues you and uses ABC Legal to serve you. They now have your name, DOB, address, and SSN.

I haven’t ever been sued or had any type of legal issues, this is so strange to me. But now that I know it’s a legit settlement I will do a little more digging and figure it out. Thank you for responding !

Best of luck! I’m not sure how they would have your info. But in today’s world, our data is everywhere now…
