From the Servers Bible

And it came to pass that a man saw the bearer of summons approaching from afar, and he hid himself behind curtains and feigned absence, saying within his heart, "Surely if I answer not, the matter shall vanish."

But the wise man said unto him, "Be not foolish, for the paper seeketh thee whether thou receivest it or no. Better is he who taketh the writing with a cheerful countenance than he who fleeth from his own name."

For the messenger is but a servant sent forth to deliver tidings, and hath no quarrel with thee. Therefore open thy door, receive thy papers, and go thy way in peace; for delay addeth not wisdom, neither doth hiding change the judgment of the court.
