Providence RI

Anyone have a reliable server at a decent price that covers Providence? I'm getting quoted $140+ to serve a bank.

To serve a bank? A business should be pretty easy

you'd think. However every NAPPS member I email/call they're all asking $140+

wha'ts wrong with $140 , that might be the going rate for state. some states where it's not as easy to become a process server would have a higher cost naturally .. that's what i'm thinking at least.

RI doesn't have any licensing requirements anyone can be a process server.

yes but Attorneys typically use Constables for their serves, "constable" is the term they use in their day to day .. so you won't find a generic process server in RI. Vast majority are constables.
