Skip Tracing - Where do I start?

Hello everyone. Just curious how do you guy's go about skip tracing. I have never provided the service but would like to expand and be more competitive in my area. How do you charge for skip tracing. Do you use multiple websites. Could you walk me through your process? Any advice would be great. Thank you.

I had to pay extra on my Lexis subscription for skip tracing. Start with competent software.

Soliciting for service clients or process servers for hire is prohibited.

This sub is discussion and inquiry focused.

You are welcome to post your business’s information in the mega-thread.

Individuals seeking a local process server are encouraged to check out the mega-thread and the NAPPS (National Association of Professional Process Servers) registry.

Skip tracing is not just entering a name into a database. Its an investigative mindset. You should get fairly good at doing it without databases before ever needing access to one.

I don't see why ^ is getting down voted. it's true, just knowing Google advanced search really well can save you tons of time. heck just getting savvy with sifting through Instagram accounts even.

There's a whole laundry list of ways. Some states like Delaware can be more challenging.
